Two boutiques, both alike in Brooklyn-ness, will hold sample sales this week, filled with both big-name brands and indie designers. On Thursday, Fort Greene's French Garment Cleaners Co. and Williamsburg's Jumelle are rolling out major winter markdowns to make way for warm-weather pieces.
At French Garment Cleaners Co., whose sale ends Sunday, expect A.P.C., A. Cheng, Isabel Marant, Nanushka, Rachel Comey, and Won Hundred; Jumelle's has Electric Feathers, Samantha Pleet, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, and Ace & Jig, as well as textiles and one-of-a-kind ceramics. Both sales will include Dieppa Restrepo, Nomia, and Apiece Apart. Which is worth your time? Call it a tie, and challenge yourself to hit up both.
Jumelle: Thursday, February 12th through Monday, February 16th. Daily 11am—7pm.
French Garment Cleaners: Thursday, February 12th through Sunday, February 15th. Thu—Sat 10am—8pm, Sun 12pm—6pm.
