The fitness-obsessed are already aware of the crazy number of health-focused spots surrounding Union Square—like Tone House, Swerve Fitness, Paragon Sports, Athleta, and the new CrossFit gym, for example. But for those who don't, they can get a crash course during Union Square Sweat Fest, a weeklong series of health and fitness events kicking off on February 24th—and many of them are free.
Registered attendees will pick up a gym bag that day that contains a map of participating businesses (and more goodies) to help them figure out which studios they can check out for free classes—The Movement, Yoga Vida, and Nimble Fitness among them. Retail stores like Lululemon and Bandier will host classes and events throughout the week, too.
There will also be the opportunity to score big prizes through social media, like boutique studio class packages and memberships to gyms like Crunch and New York Sports Club.
Mark your calendars for Monday, February 9th—that's when registration opens, and everything will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To learn more and (eventually) sign up, head to the link below.
