Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The bad news: The internet is losing a great source of vintage clothing in Mode Marteau, as founder Ariana Boussard-Reifel is shifting the focus of her website to sell solely vintage and antique jewelry alongside some of her own designs. The good news: New Yorkers can help her clean out the current stock in her Dumbo studio for major discounts.

While you can currently shop online for 70% off, you can browse for pieces not listed on the site, including archival items that she's collected over the past decade, for similar discounts between 7pm and 9pm on Wednesday, February 25th at 68 Jay Street, #1012, in Dumbo. Let Boussard-Reifel know you're stopping in by emailing before heading over.
