Nothing Is Over $80 at the Miista Sample Sale

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

London-based shoe brand Miista's first-ever stateside sample sale kicked off at noon today, but we got a first look at the deals this morning. Basically, the most important (and wonderful) thing to know about the sale is that shoes start at just $10, and nothing—not even this year's styles—is over $80.

The space is teeny, but shelves are packed with shoes of all sizes—there are plenty of 36s through 41s, and if you don't see your size, they've got more in the back—with prices via colored sticker dots. Gold is $80, white is $60, purple is $50, blue is $40, green is $30, yellow is $20, and orange is—wait for it—$10 (they're sandals, but still)!

Most pairs range between $40 and $60, including booties, brogues, chunky platform heels, and knee-high boots, as well as the brand's best sellers, their signature iridescent and metallic oxfords in a variety of colors, from silver to rose gold and purple. For a detailed list of prices, scroll through the gallery below.

You've got 'til Sunday at 6pm to shop the sale, though we recommend heading over early—the room was pretty packed by the time we left at about 12:30pm today, despite single-digit temperatures. Consider this weekend your sole chance to score these types of deals (unless you're planning a trip to London anytime soon).

Friday, February 20th through Sunday, February 22nd. Fri 12pm-8pm, Sat 11am-7pm, Sun 11am-6pm. 103 Allen St between Broome and Delancey Sts.
