Terrible news! Your favorite indie jewelry store and stacking ring heaven Catbird caught fire this morning. An announcement on NYC Scanner at noon indicated that the store's basement was on fire and that the FDNY was using "all hands" to put it out:
The news was later confirmed by Catbird (and luckily, everyone's okay!):

In true Catbird fashion, however, the store managed to throw together a sign that was both informative and typographically beautiful, warning visitors about the frigid temperature indoors while they were airing out the space.
