Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
SOHO—Join Melissa Joy Manning and friends (Pamela Love, Jen Mankins, Katie deGuzman, and more) to celebrate the launch of her Tribal collection at 12 Wooster Street tomorrow from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Along with getting first dibs on the new pieces, you'll be able to create a one-of-a-kind design with the jeweler herself.
MIDTOWN—Style blogger Aimee Song can now add "jewelry designer" to her impressive resume. Head over to the first floor of the Bloomingdale's flagship tomorrow at 6pm for the debut of her "Song of Style" bracelet (exclusive to the department store); purchasing one gets you a selfie with Song that'll get posted on her Instagram.
PARK SLOPE—For the 22nd year in a row, the Park Slope United Methodist Church (410 6th Avenue) is holding its huge used book sale, with pretty much everything going for two bucks or less. You can go tomorrow evening from 7pm to 9:30pm and pay $20 admission, or the same hours on Friday with $5 admission (it's free if you're going over the weekend). For more information, head here.
