Adidas is not only about Yeezy Season right now—it's also about expansion mode. The athletic retailer recently signed for a 4,500-square-foot Downtown Brooklyn flagship at 452 Fulton Street, and it's expected to open sometime this spring. Property owners Crown Acquisitions Inc. wrote in a press release that this opening will present Adidas's "new store concept" in the Northeast, but did not give further details.

It's not all that surprising that they're landing here, considering that they've established an "open source design center" in the borough. "The global studio will serve as a cultural contact point in the most influential city in the US, connecting the brand closely with sports and street culture," the brand said at the time.
