New York City is getting a dose of international fashion credit with Friday's arrival of Anine Bing. WWD reports that the Danish designer—who also helms a popular lifestyle blog and sings lead vocals for the band Kill Your Darlings—will open her second stateside boutique tomorrow at 330 Bleecker Street (her first opened in Los Angeles, where she's been living for the past few years, in 2014). Neighboring boutiques like Intermix and Marc Jacobs influenced Bing's decision to pick this address, her real estate broker said.
The paper writes that the 650-square-foot store fits a range of price points, with $49 ribbed tanks, $149 relaxed fit jeans, $299 black silk dresses, $499 oversized wool coats, and $999 leather pants among the offerings.
"It's for confident girls who just want to get ready in five minutes and still look effortlessly cool with a rock-bohemian twist," Bing previously told our sister site about her brand. "I'm not trying to be high-fashion. I would never, ever design something that I wouldn't wear myself. I design selfishly, then hope that everyone else loves it, too."
