WILLIAMSBURG—Tonight from 7pm to 10pm, hit up the McCarren Hotel's rooftop lounge to find all the necessary fixings to make for a very Brooklyn Valentine's Day, including accessories and goodies by local designers like Nomaterra, Amour Beauty, Bar Soap Brooklyn, Namaeh Intimates, and Carcosa.
BUSHWICK—Whatever your evening plans are on Valentine's Day, spend the the hours between 1pm and 4pm with your lady friends munching on a brunch buffet, sipping on bottomless cocktails, getting a manicure, taking a mini yoga class, and shopping for home decor by local artists. It's all happening at The Love Shack, a cute, homey event space in Bushwick. Tickets are $75 and available here.
MIDTOWN—Along with a delectable Ladurée pop-up, Bloomingdale's will host an appearance by NBA player (and noted beard-haver) James Harden Thursday at 5pm. Be sure to bring your dude friend along—guests will also get free shaves, cocktails, and style tips from GQ style experts.
NOLITA—Stop by Coop + Spree tomorrow between 6pm and 8pm for a Remodo trunk show, after which one lucky winner will even walk away with one of the brand's signature "boxed rooms," complete with Eberjey pajamas and a Wildfox sleep mask.
WILLIAMSBURG—Home decor brand Bazazas is setting up shop at the Wythe Hotel this Thursday through the 17th, where there'll be special Valentine's Day-themed events each day, including a kid-friendly card-making workshop, an in-store art installation, and a screening of Jacques Louis Vidal's video sketches. SOHO—Tomorrow from 4pm to 8pm, hit up Jill Platner's Crosby Street store for a trunk show by Daryl K, with drinks and music to follow.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS—Brooklyn-based chocolate pretzel gurus Fatty Sundays will be around town schilling out their delicious Valentine's treats—for free! From Wednesday through Friday from 1pm to 2:30pm, find them at Madison Square Park, Times Square, and Washington Square Park, respectively.
