Update: On Saturday, December 26th, the sale host announced that this sale has been extended (though did not specify an end date) and is now running daily from 10am to 7pm at 151 Wooster Street in Soho. Our original article is below.
Because buying presents for brothers, dads, and boyfriends is notoriously difficult, the John Varvatos sample sale has been stretched to run through Christmas Eve after it was originally scheduled to end yesterday afternoon. You'll be able to shop daily from 11am to 7pm through Wednesday and until 4pm on Thursday, if super-last minute is really your style.
It's likely that you'll find a similar selection to what we found on opening day, which included shearling and leather coats on the high end and diffusion line Star USA as the more budget-friendly options, with a strong selection of shoes mixed in as well. Note that a second round of markdowns has been taken on the original sale prices (this happened on Friday, too), so what you'll find at the sale today is even cheaper than what's listed in the initial report.
This isn't the only sample sale taking place during a week that's typically pretty quiet for the sample sale scene — check out our just-updated calendar to see what else you can hit up this week.
