If you dream in Dior, get ready to pinch yourself. We stopped by the What Goes Around Comes Around sample sale preview at 43 Wooster Street last night to find an IRL discounted designer fantasy. Big names like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci are prominent in the accessories section, and those in the market for a fur coat will be pleased to find an entire section dedicated to them. For those not looking to spend big bucks, there's a great selection of reasonably-priced clothing for men and women from the store's archives.
The real draw here are the accessories behind the velvet rope. Shoppers will find three long tables full of Louis Vuitton Speedys (starting at $450) and Neverfulls (starting at $750) in various sizes, plus Sac Plats totes ($725) and Keepalls ($1,150), which were available in monogram print and Epi leather. Toward the back of the section, there is a table filled with assorted styles of Balenciaga ($800), Prada ($1,800), and Hermès ($2,950) bags, plus a lone, very vintage-looking Dior clutch.
At the very back of the section, you'll find a selection of Chanel 2.55 quilted bags that run the length of wall, including lambskin versions in classic black ($2,550), aqua blue ($4,200), and beige ($3,400). There is also an enclosed jewelry case by the register. Click through the gallery above to see the luxurious offerings.
In apparel, we found fur coats ($1,500), fur vests ($150), leather jackets ($250), and blazers ($100), plus dresses, skirts, and vintage band tee-shirts for women. There are also $10, $20, and $25 bins filled with tee shirts and jeans, grouped according to size. Men will have their choice of leather jackets ($250), jeans ($100), and tee shirts ($20—$50).
This luxury wonderland of a sale runs until Sunday, and you can see all of the details in the Dealfeed below.
