There Are So Many Pop-Ups to Shop This Weekend

The New York City fashion and shopping events you need to know about.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

UPPER EAST SIDE—Nosh on healthy snacks and drinks while helping launch ITEM m6's new line of compression bottoms and foundation pieces this Saturday from 1pm to 5pm at Bloomingdales' flagship. There's a free tote with purchase, making it unlikely that you'll be leaving empty-handed.

MIDTOWNDaybreaker, the popular early morning dance movement, is hosting a holiday next Wednesday, December 16th at an undisclosed location. Solve the mystery by meeting at the Herald Square clocktower at 6am sharp (here's a hint: there's never been an early department store workout dance party before). There will be ugly Christmas sweaters and dancing dreidels, too; get your tickets here.

MIDTOWN—Meet Laurice Rahme, the creator and CEO of cult-favorite perfume company Bond No. 9, this Saturday from 12pm to 6pm at Saks Fifth Avenue. Not only will you get to sniff all the latest scents, but Rahme will have a one-on-one perfume consultation and then sign your bottle — how's that for a souvenir?

WEST VILLAGE—The husband-and-wife duo behind Mr. Baldwin Style is known for their men's styling and image consultation, and they've specifically turned their attention to husbands-to-be with their first book GROOMS: A Professional Stylist's Guide to Wedding Day Apparel for Every Budget. Pick up your copy tomorrow from 2pm to 5pm at Tie Bar (411 Bleecker St), and show up prepared with any lingering styling questions you might have — they're there to help.

SOHO—Get ready for good vibes and endless new discoveries this weekend at Bulletin NYC's Winter Break pop-up shop. Head over to the fifth floor of 271 Canal Street to scour the best wares from more than three dozen different clothing and jewelry brands, and maybe to get a tarot card reading, too. The shop is open from 1pm to 8pm on Saturday and 1pm to 7pm on Sunday; for a full list of designers, check out the official site.

WILLIAMSBURGKinfolk is expanding its airy second floor mezzanine to play host to an ever-rotating crop of pop-up shops, and first up on the roster is ALBUM quilts, the brand of cozy blankets made by Kinfolk's very own brand director. Stop by 94 Wythe Avenue any time from 7pm to 10pm tonight to check it out — it's one of the few places you can grab a blanket and a drink at the same time.
