Racked New York is seeking paid interns for the winter. Responsibilities will include writing, researching, and assisting with various editorial projects at our Bryant Park office (and remotely, occasionally) for no more than 20 hours a week.
Assignments could include, but aren't limited to: attending sample sales and writing reports, transcribing interviews, summarizing news and events for articles, assisting with posting to social media accounts, and scouting neighborhoods for retail news. Promising interns may have the option to continue working for the site as freelancers once the internship is complete.
To apply, please email email@example.com with the subject line "Racked New York Internship Application" and a few paragraphs about yourself and why you think you're a good fit for the job, plus two or three relevant writing samples. Prospective candidates will be then be contacted for a brief interview, which will be followed by an edit test.
