Phew: Manolo Blahnik hasn't forgotten about us. Madison Avenue Spy reports that the luxury shoe brand is springing its semi-annual sample sale upon New Yorkers without any warning today at the Warwick Hotel, with the doors officially opening at 11am. Racked NY reporter Kathryn Lindsay rushed over to 65 West 54th Street to find no line just yet, but security is still handing out its customary numbered tickets in anticipation of one.
Stay tuned for more details from inside the sale See our full report here, where shoes in plastic bags are organized on tables by size just waiting to be purchased in cash (since credit cards won't be accepted).
Update: We got a hold of the pricing lists. Plain shoes — leather, suede satin, printed fabric — start at $125, and go up to $150 if there's details like glitter or studs and $175 for heavy ornaments. Exotic skins start at $150, and boots start at $200 for standard materials and go up from there the higher they go up your leg. See the full lists below.
