Ah, shucks. When we saw last night that Vogue was hanging with Olivier Rousteing "on the eve of opening Balmain's New York flagship," we thought it meant that it opened today. But a visit to 100 Wooster Street yielded papered windows and blue construction tape — turns out we've got to wait a little bit longer. Sorry for the false alarm, and stay tuned for more details!

It's here! Today marks the debut of Balmain's first New York City store, according to Vogue. And it's right on schedule, too — or, rather, at least it's opening within the large window that the brand's CEO gave when the store was first announced back in February.

We're going to be at 100 Wooster Street when the doors open later this morning to see what it's all like, and will update as soon as we have more information. If you're headed there today too, let us know what you think in the comments section below.
