A tipster alerted us via Twitter that the Barneys New York outpost in Soho is no more. The number has been disconnected and Barneys' website no longer lists that location. An employee at the Upper West Side location confirmed that the Wooster Street store was planning to close, but didn't know exactly when.
A brand representative confirmed that the location is now closed. The department store is focusing its efforts on the Chelsea flagship that's slated to open in early 2016.
