A tipster alerted us that footwear brand Carlo Pazolini planned to shutter all US locations by January 15th, and we've confirmed that with a visit to the Soho location today. The sad news? In just five days, the 543 Broadway store—the only NYC spot still open—will be no more, and the only place you'll be able to find Carlo Pazolini will be online. The less sad news? They're having a huge sample sale to get rid of all that extra merchandise.
Inside the (packed!) store, you'll find boxes strewn about—men's on the left, women's on the right—organized by size. Pricing is simple: All shoes are $50, while boots and booties are $75. For women, we spotted cute patent leather loafers, oxfords, heeled knee-high boots, pumps, and stiletto booties, most of which were black and in a wide range of sizes; and on the men's side, tons of practical work boots and oxfords.
There are also a few styles of handbags ($150), clutches ($75), belts, and $25 bottles of men's cologne. As there'll be no further markdowns, your best bet is to head over as early as possible and wish the staff a fond farewell.
