FLATIRON DISTRICT—Celebrate the release of Inherent Vice with a themed art exhibition at the Ace Hotel. Artists Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe have created a surreal installation inside Liberty Hall that includes vintage and found objects alongside ephemera, art, and props from the film. WILLIAMSBURG—The Pratt Institute is kicking off a winter film series at its new fashion accelerator with the debut of Cotton Road tomorrow evening at 6pm. Director Laura Kissel will participate in a Q&A about the film, which follows the journey of American-grown cotton around the world until it returns to our stores as clothing.
