It's a sad season for Brooklyn vintage hounds: Beloved Crown Heights shop and Essential 38 alum Rosebud Vintage will close at the end of the month, according to a tipster who spotted "for rent" sign on the storefront. Word comes just a few weeks after nearby thrift shop-slash-music venue Cool Pony shuttered.
A recent Facebook post confirmed the news: "Rosebud's time on Franklin Avenue is slowly coming to a close. After three and a half phenomenal years of being a part of such a diverse and vibrant neighborhood, we are getting ready to pack up and set out for new adventures," read the announcement post. Until January 31st, however, there's plenty of time to shop newly marked-down items and wish Rosebud a fond farewell.
