Unlike its fast fashion competitors, & Other Stories—the H&M-backed line that opened its first-ever US store in Soho last October—has shied away from high-profile collabs, instead opting to launch capsule collections with slightly more left-field picks, like Swedish pop star Lykke Li, street style bait designer Vika Gazinskaya, and buzzy Central Saint Martins grad Sadie Williams. But it looks like the retailer is going for a bit more name recognition this time around—WWD reports that it's teamed up with minimalist clutch patron saint Clare Vivier on a line of bags and accessories for "the urban busy woman."
"Like all my pieces these are utilitarian, but distinctively chic and fun," Vivier says of the lineup, which hits & Other Stories' Broadway flagship this March. In the sole campaign image—starring Meryl Streep's daughters, Mamie, Grace and Louisa Gummer—a bucket bag, cross-body purse, and fashion fanny pack take center stage, but shoppers can also expect to see nail polishes and shoes (both firsts for the designer). Prices top off at $195 for a large tote, or about half of what similar styles from Clare Vivier's main line cost.
