A familiar story for anyone acquainted with Soho real estate prices: jeweler Robert Lee Morris has closed his longtime flagship store (and the brand's only standalone boutique) at 400 West Broadway, WWD reports. In a Facebook post, the designer announced that New Year's Eve would be the final day for the store.
There is, however, some silver lining: "Time to give up all that insanely expensive space and look for a smaller jewel box uptown," he wrote.
