Scoop NYC's closet clean-up sale started today, and we headed over around noon to see what was on the racks. There's tons of designer dresses, coats, jackets, and sweaters at up to 80% off seriously that still leaves some price tags on the higher end, but this sale is definitely worth hitting up regardless.

The sale is located in the very back of the long, skinny space, so you'll walk a ways before finding it. The women's section is mostly located on the right side of the store, with shoes and bags lining the right wall. Everything is individually marked, so you'll need to do some digging (and some math) in order to find the actual cost of the item you're eyeing. On all merchandise, there's the original price printed on the tag, slashed by a red marker indicating a lower price. At the register, they'll take half-off of that price.

The first thing you'll notice is a large table of cozy, chunky sweaters, all around the $100 range. Booties, both utility and stiletto and many of them Maison Martin Margiela for around $200, occupy the space next to them, as well as handbags (Marc by Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, and others), spring scarves, beanies, gloves, and belts.

Next up, you'll find coats in a wide range of styles, sizes, and prices, including shearling-lined leather by Burberry Brit and T by Alexander Wang, furry Chloe, and light, minimalist jackets by Helmut Lang. To the right, there's a long wall of dresses by Michael Kors, Diane von Furstenburg, Zac Posen, and more.

Elsewhere, we spotted Rag & Bone overalls, a beautiful cobalt Caroline Constas shirtdress, and tons of cute, crop tops that are perfect for anchoring your "going out in wintertime" look. There aren't too many different sizes of each piece, so your best bet is to head over either tonight or early tomorrow morning to find the widest selection.
