First fashion dudes got their own Lululemon spinoff, then a manly wedding shop, and now they'll have a whole New York Times lifestyle section all to themselves, WWD reports. Called "Men's Style," the 12-to-14-page insert is set to appear on the first Friday of every month starting April 3rd.
Styles editor Stuart Emmrich, who will oversee the section, said, "In the last six months, we've been doing a lot more men's wear stories. The impression from the outside world is that Styles is a women's section, but [readership]
is split 50-50." So far plans for "Men's Style" include men's market coverage, profiles, reported pieces, and "a dedicated watch column."
