Most stores roll out their spring merchandise little by little—changing the window displays one week, wedging some lightweight blouses into the sweater rack the next—but not Dover Street Market. The Murray Hill department store's seasonal turnovers (which it likes to call "new beginnings") are full-on productions, requiring top-to-bottom revamps of the seven-story space.
In preparation for the store's latest transformation, its sale is ending tonight, after which DSM will be closed until Saturday, January 17th, when it emerges as a shiny new butterfly covered in Comme des Garcons polka dots.
