Following the death of Joan Rivers at the age of 81, Bergdorf Goodman is honoring the legendary comedienne by displaying screenshot of her and Miss Piggy from the 1984 film The Muppets Take Manhattan—Rivers had a cameo as a perfume counter saleswoman in the famed department store—in a Fifth Avenue-facing window. The Fashion Police maven was scheduled to host a book launch party for famed personal shopper (and personal friend) Betty Halbreich at the store last night. "As long as Bergdorf Goodman is on the corner of 58th and 5th, I'm a happy girl," she had previously said in an interview. [Us Weekly]
