It's been a little while since we heard any news out of Brookfield Place, but the downtown shopping mecca is definitely still adding stores to its roster. The latest? Vilebrequin, the men's swimwear destination that already operates New York stores on Madison Avenue and West Broadway.
"The opening of a store downtown in New York's financial district is a strategic move to place the Vilebrequin brand in shopping areas that cater to a mix of both local and traveling customers of luxury," Brookfield's director of retail leasing Edward Hogan told WWD.
