Hudson Bay Company has finally confirmed the rumors that spread earlier this year: Saks Fifth Avenue will open in Brookfield Place, while Saks Off Fifth is headed to One Liberty Plaza, WWD reports.

With the main-line store taking up 85,000 square feet at 225 Liberty Plaza—the largest store there, but just a fraction of the nearly 650,000 square feet the uptown location has—it'll likely function much like the Bloomingdale's Soho location does with its uptown flagship, stocking the brands and styles that the department store believes will sell well to its potential customers.

WWD also confirmed the rumor about Hudson Bay Co.'s offices—New York City-based corporate employees working for Saks and sister store Lord & Taylor will take 400,000 square feet of office space at Brookfield Place.

Saks Fifth Avenue is slated to open in spring 2016—well before stores like Barneys New York in Chelsea (2017), Neiman Marcus at Hudson Yards (2018), and Nordstrom on West 57th Street (2018)—while Off Fifth will arrive in fall 2017
