Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
The Hank and JoJo as you knew it is no more—but only because it's something so much better. The DeKalb Avenue shop that used to feature just children's clothes and toys is rebranding as Fort Greene General Store in the coming days, and the in-store buying team will cater to all ages.
Fort Greene Focus reports that alongside the same kid-friendly products, customers can look for jewelry by Kira Kira, vintage from Honeysuckle and Hearts, products from Moleskine and Herschel Supply Co.. In the future, look out for dedicated trunk shows and Instagram-only sales.
