Got a slew of fall weddings on your calendar? Then add in the Rent the Runway sample sale, kicking off at 260 Fifth Avenue—just a few blocks north of their new store—on Monday, September 29th at noon. Once again, the company is clearing out its inventory with discounts as high as 95% off on dresses from the likes of Nicole Miller, Diane von Furstenberg, Badgley Mischka, and more.
Last year on opening day, the racks were stuffed with a lot of great cocktail dresses for under $100, while more embellished designs and gowns were closer to $200. However, there were a lot of damaged goods here, which only became more evident as the sale continued.
What we do know is there will be lots to look through—the New York Observer reports that the brand is moving to a new warehouse this year that's four times the size of their current one in New Jersey, which already holds more than 100,000 dresses.
