Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
CHELSEA— Never been to a Body & Pole class before? The studio is hosting free classes for new students on Saturday, September 27th. You'll have the chance to sample two classes—choose from Vertical Ballet Barre, Acro Floor, CoreAerial, or BodyArt—that'll improve strength, flexibility, and (most importantly) confidence. Sign up online to reserve your spot before they're filled.
TRIBECA—There will be free wine and cheese at Joy Gryson store tomorrow evening, where the local designer will be showcasing her fall collection. She'll be offering special prices on these items during the event at 106 Franklin Street, which runs from 6pm through 8pm, and all guests who make a purchase will be entered into a raffle to win a free bag.
MIDTOWN—Meet Aerin Lauder as she presents the fall home collection at Bergdorf Goodman tomorrow between 2pm and 4pm. Check out the seventh floor hallway space that she's decorated with her furniture, lighting, decorative accessories, gifts, and more—plus, Lauder will also be signing copies of her book, Beauty At Home.
SOHO—The latest pop-up to hit the neighborhood is the Mob Shop, featuring apparel from Australian boutique Fashion Bunker and jewelry from Venezuelan designer Jessie Dib. Check out the merchandise at 85 Mercer Street—the shop will be open every day through the end of October.
