Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We popped by the Escada sample sale shortly after lunch today to see what Soffier Haskin had in stock—and how much it would cost us. Since the sale started on Saturday, markdowns now run up to 90% off on select merchandise, and—unlike Alexander McQueen—there's plenty of merchandise to peruse midway through this sale.

There was a steady stream of shoppers perusing the racks today, which held sleeveless tops, blouses, pants, and skirts that skewed toward more mature women (read: don't take your daughter to this sale). Merchandise was divided by size ranging from 2 to 18, and was pretty evenly spread among each size.

On the left-hand side as you enter, all merchandise is 75% off, though items with green tags are now 80% off. Yellow-tagged and damaged merchandise, which is 90% off, takes up the right-hand side. You'll need to keep the calculator app handy on your phone though, since the tags only have original prices.

Tops that we pulled off the rack that were 75% off ranged from $98.75 to $223.75 (from $395 to $895, depending on material and embellishments). Blazers also started at $98.75 and went up to $348.75. Meanwhile, we saw a pair of basic blue jeans on the 90% off rack going for just $17.50.

There was also two racks of "special occasion" gowns near the fitting rooms, with original price tags that hit five digits. Some of the detailed embroidery looked frayed, though—give each piece a good look before investing.

The best deals were in the shoe section, where are sandals and heels were $75 and boots were $100. That included a nice pair of black pumps with snakeskin-print ankle straps that were originally $895. There was a smaller selection for sizes 7.5 and below, but most should be able to find a pair of pumps in a neutral color here. Meanwhile, the accessories section didn't have much more than silk scarves going for $140.

Bottom line? Unless you're strictly in it for the denim, you probably won't spend less than $100 on a single item of clothing here. The sale runs through Wednesday evening—check the Dealfeed below for sale times, and be on the lookout for more markdowns in the final days.
