WILLIAMSBURG—Fashion and food perfectly intersect in Cherry Bombe magazine, so it only makes sense that the publication marry the two subjects in real life when celebrating its latest issue launch—that's why founders Kerry Diamond and Claudia Wu are throwing a party at the neighborhood Bird at 203 Grand Street tomorrow from 6pm to 9pm, along with store owner Jen Mankins. There will be drinks, plus treats from Nightingale 9, and 20% of proceeds from purchases made that night will benefit Heritage Radio.
BOERUM HILL—Head over to SEE Eyewear to celebrate the store's first Brooklyn location at 160 Smith Street tomorrow between 6pm and 8pm. All guests in attendance will receive a gift certificate for a future purchase, and anyone who uses it between Thursday and Sunday of this week will be benefitting the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Party guests will also get to enjoy snacks and drinks from local Brooklyn vendors, as well as Vosges Haut Chocolat. An RSVP is required—you can do that by sending an email here.
FLATIRON—Dress up your apartment's floors at the ABC Carpet & Home color reform patchwork sample sale, where you can get handmade artisanal wool rugs made from frayed vintage carpets in every color of the rainbow starting at $150, with uniform pricing per size. If you can't make it over right away, don't fret—they'll be on sale through October 3rd.
NOLITA—Celebrate the recently opened Margaret O'Leary with an in-store party featuring complimentary champagne and a look at the designer's latest cashmere pieces for fall. Van Leeuwen will also have its ice cream truck parked right outside. RSVP for the party at 279 Mott Street by sending an email here.
TRIBECA—Meet Harper's Bazaar's master of accessories Sam Broekema at Shinola (177 Franklin Street) tomorrow from 6pm to 8pm. He'll be going over the Detroit brand's latest collection as guests sip complimentary cocktails. RSVP by sending an email here.
MIDTOWN—Liven up your commute by stopping at the Kipling pop-up inside Grand Central Terminal. The bag brand will be debuting its Always On collection, with styles starting at $69, with perks like complimentary manicures and massages, phone charging stations, and a GIF booth. They'll be open on Wednesday from 1pm to 5pm and Thursday from 1pm to 7pm—but if you want to get in on the Thursday happy hour, you'll have to RSVP here first.
