LOWER EAST SIDE—Shop the closets of local stylists, designers, retailers, and editors during the Hester Street Fair's 5th annual Stylist Tent Event. You're basically guaranteed to find an insider-approved secondhand gem inside the dedicated tent, where there'll also be food vendors and a special guest DJ. Stop by between 11am and 6pm on Saturday or Sunday to check out the goods.
FLATIRON—The very funny Amy Sedaris debuts her equally adorable home goods collection, I Like You, for Fishs Eddy at an in-store launch party tomorrow at 3pm. Post-fangirling, chow down on a free cupcake baked by the star herself with any purchase of the collection.
WILLIAMSBURG—Haven't tired of Fashion Week fun? Artists & Fleas will be displaying a style studio tomorrow and Sunday, featuring the best apparel from local vendors. Stylists will be on hand to complete outfits for models to show off, which will later be photographed and assembled into the flea's very first lookbook.
FLATIRON—Tomorrow from 9:30am to 4:30pm, ABC Carpet & Home and skincare guru Indie Lee will host a day's worth of discussions, demos, and workshops on beauty and wellness. Participants include: Julie Rice, co-founder of SoulCycle; Adina Grigore, founder of S.W. Basics; and Elena Brower, co-author of The Art of Attention. Tickets are $80, but the full amount will go towards your choice of skincare products, books, makeup and clothing.
GOWANUS—Despite the tough name, Sunday's Badass Brooklyn Fall Festival actually supports a very sweet cause: The second annual street fair, hosted by Brooklyn Animal Rescue, is filled with food, pet gear vendors, and raffle prizes from local businesses. There's also pet-friendly activities like a "pitbull kissing booth," an agility course, and a trick contest.
CENTRAL VALLEY—Heading upstate for the weekend? (We're jealous). If you're in the area, stop by Woodbury Common for The Shopping Block tomorrow from noon to 5pm. Curated in partnership with Simon Malls and Refinery29, the event will host model Kyleigh Kuhn and Jag Lever blogger Rachel-Marie Iwanyszyn, plus feature merchandise from high-end NYC brands like Rachel Antonoff and indie perfume studio D.S. & Durga.
