The long-awaited East Village outpost of Westside Market will finally debut on Third Avenue on October 1st, DNAinfo reports. It'll be the family-run grocery chain's sixth location and will be open 24 hours a day. Did we mention there will be a fancy pizza bar? There will be a fancy pizza bar.
"We have the bourgie-ness," co-owner George Zoitas, the son of Westside's original founders, told Bedford + Bowery about the new location. "Our build-outs are extensive, and clean. We don't cut any corners and our price point is great." Well then—"bourgie-ness" aside, here's hoping this will fill the gap between Whole Foods' prices and Trader Joe's endless lines.
