Adding to the parade of enormous mega-chains marching into Brooklyn is the Obama-approved Gap, which will open up a factory store in Ditmas Park this November.
Word comes via neighborhood blog Ditmas Park Corner—they happened to overhear one of the construction site workers singing that line from the old "fall into the Gaaaap" commercials when they spotted the signage.
Renderings reveal that the outlet will occupy a corner space in the large commercial development that's currently being constructed at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Regent Place. Other off-price stores coming to the borough this year include Neiman Marcus Last Call and Nordstrom Rack.—Rebecca Jennings
