Want to ask that Vogue beauty director you Instagram-stalk how her red lipstick always looks so flawless? Or bug your favorite Allure editor about the secret to her glowy skin? (You know it's not just green juice.)
You have the chance to find out this Thursday, August 7th at the 3rd annual Look Good Feel Better Beauty Editor's Day, taking place at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Beauty Editors Day benefits Look Good Feel Better, an organization dedicated to helping women undergoing cancer treatment look beautiful and feel confident by providing free cosmetics and styling treatments. 25 beauty editors, including those from Vogue, Allure and Lucky, will pair up with 25 prestige beauty brands like Tom Ford and Dior to offer personal consultations—plus, you'll score a complimentary mini-service and gift.
Registration includes a $30 donation to Look Good Feel Better, and 10% of all sales from participating brands will be donated to the organization.
Louanne Roark, executive director of the Personal Care Products Council Foundation, told WWD that last year's event generated nearly $95,000 for Look Good Feel Better. "[This event] allows us to link with the publishing industry, which is an awesome opportunity to reach the consumer and see what Look Good Feel Better does," Roark says.
