Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Welcome to Racked New York's search for New York City's hottest trainer. Over the coming weeks, we'll profile sixteen smoking locals—fitness experts who not only look hot in spandex, but can make you look amazing too. Once you've gotten to know everyone, we'll host a March Madness-style showdown in which readers vote for their favorites. Let the games begin!

Sixteen contestants later, we're finally ready to begin voting for Racked's Hottest Trainer. We're separating our contestants by gender, beginning with all of the guys. Tomorrow we'll open up a separate poll for women, and the winners from each poll will square off next week in a final vote.

In case you forgot, our male contestants are Keoni Hudoba of Cyc Fitness, Jay Centeno of SLT and Barry's Bootcamp, Ryan Beck of Body and Pole and Broadway Dance Center, Jason Tran of Swerve Fitness and The Fhitting Room, Mike Strevel of DavidBartonGym, Alonzo Wilson of Tone House, Brian Patrick Murphy of Mark Fisher Fitness, and David Holland of Flex Studios.

Click through the gallery above to refresh your memory on each male trainer, plus get a link to their profile. The poll will close 48 hours after it's published, so you only have until noon on Saturday to vote for the hottest male trainer!

Update: We have a winner! Congrats to Brian Patrick Murphy of Mark Fisher Fitness!
