Day at the Museum

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Museum at FIT already has its spring 2015 exhibit on lock: A tributue to Lauren Bacall, who passed away last week at the age of 89. She's donated 700 items of clothing, mostly from the 50s and 60s, and had previously requested a "high-quality, Diana Vreeland style" exhibit from museum curator Valerie Steele. But first, we'll see an exhibit dedicated to the intersection of dance and fashion. [Racked]
