Sudanese model Ataui Deng has been declared missing, The Village Voice reports. Deng was last seen at 251 West 48th Street—where nightclubs XVI Lounge and Attic are located—on August 6th at 11pm.
The model, who has lived in New York since 2008 (most recently on Essex Street), was the face of Rihanna's River Island campaign, and has appeared in the pages of Teen Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
Update: Ataui Deng was found alive at an area hospital Monday night, police say. It's unclear why she was admitted, but her friend Roblé Ali said on Instagram that she is "safe and sound."
