Racked New York is seeking an academic editorial intern for the fall semester. Responsibilities include writing, researching, and assisting with various editorial projects at our Bryant Park office for no more than 20 hours a week.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to pitch your own recurring feature on the site. Over the course of the internship, you'll conceive of feature topics, present them to the editors, and execute the ones they feel are promising. If the feature does well it will run as a recurring post. (If not, it's back to the drawing board). Anyone who's able to pioneer a successful recurring feature will have the option to continue it as a freelancer.
To apply, please email email@example.com with the subject line "Racked New York Internship Application" and a brief paragraph about yourself. Prospective candidates will be asked to submit a short writing sample. Applicants must be able to receive college credit for this internship.
