Welcome back to What's In Store, a Racked feature where we fill you in on what's in stock at the city's best stores right this second.
Fashion's infatuation with all things '90s streetwear is still going strong, and no one is riding that wave better than Brian Procell. The painter and former design consultant spends his days scouring church basement sales and Japanese thrift stores to unearth the Selena concert tees, Chicago Bulls jerseys (yes, Miley got hers from Brian), and Spuds MacKenzie keychains that line the walls of his Delancey Street shop.
"No one had opened a vintage store full of low brow references," he told us. "I wanted to be the new guard." "Low brow," doesn't necessarily mean cheap, though—it also extends to logo-plastered early aughts designer fashions, like the 'J'Adore Dior' tanks whose resurgence is happening right about…now. Check out Procell's nostalgia-inducing goods, in the gallery.
