Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

There's some retail reshuffling going down on the Upper West Side. Antiques store Olde Good Things is vacating its 450 Columbus Avenue space after failing to reach a new lease agreement, and independent bookstore Book Culture is moving in, DNAinfo reports. It's unclear if the micro-chain is closing one of its Morningside Heights locations before setting up camp—or if this will be its third shop.

Book Culture's stock skews pretty academic—they mainly traffic in textbooks, and when we asked them for a beach read recommendation, they suggested Beowulf (the exact response you want from a tweedy Upper West Side bookstore). No word yet on if they'll change up their inventory a bit for their new, less Columbia-centric outpost.—Alisha Prakash
