While Fendi goes small-scale downtown, Louis Vuitton is doing just the opposite at its Fifth Avenue flagship. LVMH finally received the green light to expand horizontally into the skinny neighboring building at 743 Fifth Avenue it purchased for a cool $60 million back in 2007.
While the new addition clocks in at just 1,580 square feet, its ceilings are eight stories tall. Expect portions of the existing megastore to be closed while construction takes place.
