Thought Coney Island maxed out on glitz during the Mermaid Parade? Think again: designer Alison Lou Chemla, the New York City native behind her namesake line of luxe emoticon jewelry, launched a super fun Coney Island-inspired collection.
The collection, which is only available on Moda Operandi, includes a rose gold hot dog ring with yellow sapphire mustard; a ruby and sapphire rocket pop necklace; and a 14-karat-gold merry-go-round bracelet with silver ponies. The caveat: prices extremely surpass the norm for Coney Island's cheap thrills. To put it in perspective, let's just say you can buy over a thousand Nathan's World Famous franks for the price of one piece.—Hali Berman
