There's been a mass exodus from Orchard Street's Pink Building ever since Waterbridge Capital bought it for $27 million last summer. JFK Restaurant Supply picked up and moved to Canal Street, Jodamo downsized from two floors to one, Modern Decor crossed the river to Brooklyn (291 Avenue S), and Cellini Uomo moved further up the block to number 133. The reason for the flight? The building is possibly being covered to a "Chelsea Market style enterprise," Bowery Boogie reports, complete with "11,200 square-feet of high-end shops, and luxury living to match."
