We've got a late addition to the July sample sale calendar—Mizhattan reports that the Bottega Veneta sample sale is returning to Metropolitan Pavilion next week.

When we went last year, we found snakeskin cross-body bags for $250 and snakeskin satchels for $400 (from $3,159 and $4,169, respectively). Shoes topped out at $250, and sunglasses were a mere $25.

Mizhattan notes that the first day of the sale—Tuesday, July 29th—is invite-only, meaning we won't be able to see the goods until the next day. Other shoppers should be able to get in on Wednesday and Thursday, though.

And it may be better to wait until later to shop, anyway—readers were treated to extra markdowns on the final day of the sale last year.

Update: Bottega Veneta has confirmed with us that the sale will be open to the public on Wednesday and Thursday—see the Dealfeed for details.
