So summer picnics are great and all, but that huge blanket doesn't do much in the way of providing comfort against the hard ground. Consider picking up a striped throwbed from Hedgehouse before your next outing—the brand that specializes in pillows large and small, plus chic coverings, has their own dedicated pop-up shop in the West Village for the month of July.
The L.A.-based label was started by native New Yorker Beata Henrichs-Lieb. Aside from the pop-up, Hedgehouse can be found locally at places like Steven Alan Home and Calypso in Soho.
The pop up shop is housed in the former Tom Binns store, which closed at the end of May.
