Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We hit up the first half of No.6 Store's annual summer sample sale this afternoon, and even though we arrived shortly after the sale opened, nearly100 people were already lined up—it took about an hour to get in and shop.

Here's the rundown: All of the brand's signature clogs are $150, while leather clog boots are $225 and shearling boots are $275. The shoes, which are located in the back of the sale space, are housed on large shelves and organized according to size, which range from 35 to 43.

Both summery styles (like the Criss Cross Clog sandals and the Two Strap style) and more durable, all-weather styles such as the Creeper and Top Weave are available here.

There are two bins of $50 clogs and boots in the shoe section. We noticed minor damages on some of these, such as discoloration and missing laces, but nothing too serious. There are also a few pairs of $100 mid-calf leather boots and a bin full of $20 espadrilles and sandals.

This section is definitely worth going through because there are major deals to be had, but note that its a bit messy and may be difficult to find a matching pair or a specific size.

The rest of the sale space is packed full of the label's breezy, boho threads, which range from $50 to $115. Though the clogs are the draw of this sale, there are some really great picks among the clothing racks.

Expect to find tons of silk blouses and tees for $60and printed silk trousers for $75. There's a bunch of dresses available as well: a denim shirtdress for $60, a striped silk maxi dress for $115, and loads of printed silk summer dresses for $90.

A handful of accessories are on display next to the cash register, including leather belts and woven Baggu pouches for $25 each.

The small space has no fitting room, so be prepared to change in front of other shoppers. Staff informed us that they'll be restocking what they can throughout the duration of the sale, but there isn't a ton of back stock. If you're a big fan of the brand, head in ASAP for the best picks.

Keep an eye out for possible markdowns on Sunday and get ready for the second portion of the sale, which kicks off next Friday.—Gillian Fuller
