New Markdowns at Erin Fetherston; Here's What's Left

Now that Erin Fetherston's sample sale is in its second (and final) day, staffers have taken out their Red Sharpies of Happiness and marked everything down.

As noted yesterday, there are two racks devoted to gowns. Sizes still range from 0-12, but prices now start at $73, (down from $145) for solid chiffon, and go up to $138 (down from $275) for embellished non-strapless or one-shoulder gowns: a surprisingly hefty discount over the course of 24 hours.

Dresses make of the majority of the remaining stock; there are prices listed for Erin Fetherston separates, but aside from a sequined or feather-embellished skirt dotting the racks here and there, we didn't see anything else left.

As for specific styles: the Audrey dress, a new arrival on the Erin Fetherston website, is now on sale for $45, the Peony is now $75, and the Daisy in white is $68. Nearby, we saw a high/low orange chiffon maxi priced at $78, as well as bandage dresses, delicate beaded and jacquard designs, and even some work-friendly gray and navy sheaths. There are multiples of almost every piece.

There's still a full rack of Cosabella lingerie and a few of bins of undies, but those prices have all stayed the same ($30 for bras, $60 for slips, and $13 for thongs). The size 40 Saint Laurent Tribute sandals ($250) and Prada equestrian leather boots ($325) are both still there, as are a small handful of evening clutches and totes. As previously noted, there is no fitting room, but plenty of ladies have set up camp at the back of the room and are trying dresses on as needed.

The sale ends at 8pm today. No word as to whether prices may drop one final time, but there's definitely enough merchandise from the current season to justify a quick trip on your lunch break or before the end of the day.—Marina Charny
