Residents of the fitness-saturated Soho and Tribeca neighborhoods are getting two new options in the coming months. The simpler of the two is Barre Tribeca, which Tribeca Citizen reports is a barre and Pliates studio aiming to be more affordable, with individual classes going for $25 (comparatively, Bari Studio classes are $35 each).

Co-founded by a Tribeca resident, the studio is aiming for an October 1st opening at 28 Warren Street.

And next month marks the debut of Monster Cycle + Studio, which Well & Good says will feature indoor cycling, yoga, a juice bar, and art installations, if you can handle all of that.

It's the outgrowth of co-founder Michael Macneal's cycling class that he used to teach at Equinox, featuring projected music videos and a nightlife atmosphere. That environment will expand to the yoga studio with a DJ booth, and strength training classes will eventually be taught there as well.

Look for the Monster to open mid-August at 182 Lafayette Street.
